I thought I would share with you a truly wonderful opportunity to learn about the devastating environmental impacts of Canada’s tar sands, a unique oil extraction technique that devastates the Boreal Forest.

On March 16 – 20, 2009 Andrew Nikiforuk’s book Tar Sands: Dirty Oil and the Future of a Continent will be offered for FREE via downloadable PDF on the publisher’s website. They told me the book was so important they would like to share it with us online before it hits book store shelves.

Also, if you are a fellow blogger, the publishers are willing to send you a free hard copy of the book if you share the link to the free PDF above with your readers.
