Tracking the Spectacle of Migration: Radar

While many birders across the continent enjoy seeing migratory birds pass through their neigborhood, this fact sheet explains another way to see birds migrate: radar. Doppler radar picks up bird activity on clear nights and can provide useful information as to whether or not you might see large numbers of migrants in your area.
