A new Probe poll shows a majority of Manitobans is in favour of better protection of the boreal forests in the province.
The poll, which was done for the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), found that 88 per cent of those consulted believe that at least half of the boreal should be protected, with 63 per cent stating that the level of protection should be greater than half.
